What's Included

1. Red Cedar Railings

• Standard Cedar Railings use #1 Grade Cedar 1x3 balusters.
• Balusters are spaced four inches apart.
• A 2x4 handrail sits atop the balusters.
• Sanding smooths baluster edges.
• Matching bottom railings are available.
• Standard height measures 32 inches.
• Custom heights require consultation with a Project Advisor.
• Railings come preassembled.
• Provided screws attach railings to posts.

2. Standard Cedar Braces

Standard cedar braces form a 45-degree angle, solidifying the gazebo’s corners and supporting its posts and roof. Constructed from #1 Western Red Cedar 2x8s, these braces connect to the upper railing section, creating a single unit.

The assembly attaches to the top of the posts using provided screws. A distinctive "half-moon" cut adds a decorative touch while maintaining simplicity. The entryway section of the gazebo excludes corner braces.

3. Standard Cedar Posts

The standard laminated post measures 3.5 inches by 3.5 inches square. Gazebos exceeding 18 feet wide utilize larger, 5x5 laminated posts. Our Vinyl Gazebos feature 3.5x3.5 inch posts encased in a 4x4 vinyl sleeve.

Laminating boards together produces these posts, resulting in a superior, warp-resistant product stronger than solid lumber. Despite the layered construction, meticulous planning and sanding create a seamless, solid appearance.

Standard post height from the floor measures 78 inches. For taller posts or heavier 6x6 options, consult your Project Advisor. Larger gazebos or areas prone to heavy snow or wind may require larger posts.
