What's Included

• Heavyweight 30-year architectural asphalt shingles

Fifthroom's heavyweight 30-year architectural asphalt shingles feature a triple-layer fiberglass mat construction with a random cut middle and top saw tooth design. TAMKO Building Products manufactures these shingles. They are coated with asphalt, surfaced with mineral granules, and laminated together with special asphalt adhesive. A self-sealing strip of asphalt adds wind resistance.  Most kits don’t include shingles applied to the roof section due to weight restrictions for safe transportation.

• 8x8 Rough Cut Posts

These 8x8 posts withstand the elements for years, remaining strong and sturdy without twisting, warping, or bending.

The standard height of an 8' post from the floor is 91", with 85 ½" head clearance. We customize heights, offering taller or shorter options. Commercial structures may need at least 80" of headroom.

• 6x12 Headers

• 3x8 Rafters

• 1x6 Tongue and Groove Roof Decking

Fifthroom roof decking features 1x6 boards supported by double 2x6 rafters (or 3x8 rafters on Rustic structures), matching the material of your structure. This smooth tongue and groove decking provides a foundation for the roof while maintaining a finished look from below.
