5" x 5" Straight Laminated Posts
Fifthroom include 5" x 5" Laminated Posts as a standard feature in many of their structures. Their lamination boards are hand-selected to ensure minimal knots and a lifetime of quality.
The standard height of an 8' post from the floor is 91", with 85 ½" head clearance. If you need taller or heavier posts, choose from the options on the side or consult with your Project Advisor. Remember, commercial structures may require at least 80" of headroom.

Short Post Trim
Fifthroom's Ramadas use custom brackets to anchor the posts to your deck or patio. These brackets can look unsightly if left uncovered, so we include base trim for a polished appearance. The trim matches the rest of your structure, such as Treated Pine or Red Cedar.
If you're adding a deck, we use different brackets that don't need trim. If you still want trim, talk to your Project Advisor to add it at no extra cost.
Note: Trim style may vary based on your structure's mounting and local requirements. Photos show common Post Base Trim styles.

- Standard Beams
Fifthroom's beams are either double or triple 2x8s, depending on the structure's size. Engineers design them to be both visually appealing and structurally sound for long-lasting use. Beams can span up to 16 feet, so a 16-foot or smaller Ramada needs 4 posts (in the corners). Ramadas over 18 feet require an additional center post for beam support. Corner braces enhance both style and lateral strength.
In certain cases, glu-laminated beams can span longer distances with fewer posts. Consult with a Project Advisor if you prefer this option.

Please note that the images in our product showcase accurately depict the ramada structure. However, each component is customizable to suit your individual style and preferences. For example if you do not like the design of the posts then these can be changed to a different design for an additional price.
