Do I need a conversion kit when I purchase the Copenhagen fire pit in Natural Gas?

Your Copenhagen fire pit arrives ready for connection to your chosen fuel source. If you ordered a natural gas unit, it will be configured for natural gas. No need for a conversion kit.

We highly recommend a licensed gas technician or plumber handle the installation for safety.

Conversion kits are only needed if you later decide to switch between liquid propane and natural gas.

Can we request a different colour fire pit glass?

To request a different color fire pit glass, please email us at sales@luxyardandhomes.com or call us at 254-503-5382.

Please note that while the complimentary fire glass will still be included with your purchase, there will be an additional charge for custom colors.

Does it come with a burner cover?

Yes, the Copenhagen fire pit comes with a custom-fit porcelain cover for the burner. Simply place the lid over the fire pit to transform it into a covered coffee table.

Is the complimentary fire pit cover UV protected?

The complimentary fire pit cover is made from natural fabric and is not UV protected.

Like all natural materials, it will wear over time, especially with exposure to direct sunlight and heavy rain. However, it still provides sufficient protection for the fire pit.

What is the total weight of the Copenhagen Fire Pit Package package?

The fire pit weighs 253lbs and once its inside the box packaged, it weighs 255lbs

Should a fire pit be deep or shallow?

A fire pit should be on the shallow side, ideally between 6 and 12 inches deep. Here's why:

  • Safety: Deeper pits can trap embers and make them harder to extinguish properly, increasing the risk of fire spreading.
  • Ventilation: Shallower pits allow for better air circulation, which is essential for a good fire and prevents smoke build up.
  • Enjoyment: A shallow pit allows you to see the flames better and enjoy the ambiance of the fire.

However, a very shallow pit (less than 4 inches) might not be ideal either, as the fire could be too close to the ground and pose a safety hazard.

Remember: Always check your local fire codes for any specific depth restrictions on fire pits.
