Create a durable and long-lasting outdoor retreat with the Fifthroom Treated Pine Rectangle Ramada Structure. This versatile structure offers a spacious and stylish solution for your backyard, available in 7 sizes ranging from 8ft x 8ft to 20ft x 40ft.
Crafted from kiln-dried treated pine, this rectangle ramada structure is built to withstand the elements and provide years of enjoyment. The treated pine is resistant to decay and insect damage, ensuring a durable and long-lasting structure.
These heavyweight 30-year architectural asphalt shingles have a triple-layer fiberglass mat construction with a random cut middle and top saw tooth design. The three layers of mat are coated with asphalt, surfaced with mineral granules, and then laminated together with special asphalt adhesive. A self-sealing asphalt strip helps provide added wind resistance.

Fifthroom's wood ramadas include 5x5 Laminated Posts as standard. Each post measures 5" x 5". Upgrade to 7x7 posts for a sturdier look.
The ramadas come with Short Base Trim to conceal the mounting brackets and enhance aesthetics. Consider upgrading to Tall Base Trim for a more luxurious appearance.
Fifthroom's beams are either double or triple 2x8s, depending on the structure's size. Engineers design them to provide the necessary support for long-lasting use. Standard beams have a clear span of up to 16 feet. A 16-foot or smaller Ramada needs 4 posts, one in each corner. Ramadas over 18 feet require an additional center post for beam support. Our corner braces enhance both style and lateral strength.
We include powder-coated steel mounting brackets for easy attachment of the structure to a concrete patio, poured footers, or a wooden deck. Base trim is also included to conceal the hardware after installation.
Fifthrooom's standard roof decking consists of 1x6 boards supported by double 2x6 rafters (or 3x8 rafters on Rustic structures), made from the same material as the rest of your structure, except for special cases and custom requests. This smooth tongue and groove decking provides a foundation for the roof while maintaining a finished look from below.
Please note that the images in our product showcase accurately depict the ramada structure. However, each component is customizable to suit your individual style and preferences. To request a design change, simply contact our project advisors.
Treated pine is a reliable and affordable option for outdoor projects. It can still last between 15-20 years with proper care.
While treated pine is a popular and affordable building material, it does have some drawbacks:
Sun sensitivity: Treated pine can be sensitive to sunlight, leading to changes in color, cracking, warping, and cupping if not properly maintained.
Appearance: While treated pine can provide a natural wood look, it may not always replicate the exact appearance of real, untreated wood.
To mitigate these issues, it's essential to apply a protective finish to treated pine and regularly inspect and maintain it. With proper care, treated pine can still be a durable and cost-effective choice for various outdoor projects.
For a durable, cost-effective and low-maintenance option laying a concrete slab base is hard to beat. Once dry and the gazebo erected, the surface can be left exposed, or tiled, or you can even paint concrete bases, for a high-end contemporary finish
A hardtop gazebo is the best option for withstanding harsh weather conditions like wind, rain, and snow. Unlike soft-top gazebos, hardtop roofs are designed to withstand strong winds and heavy precipitation without collapsing or being damaged. This means you can enjoy your outdoor space year-round, even during inclement weather.
Hardtop gazebos provide a secure and sheltered environment, allowing you to relax and enjoy the outdoors without worrying about the elements.
