Match Lit

A match lit ignition offers a straightforward approach to lighting your fire pit. Simply open the conveniently located gas valve behind the access door using a long match or taper. Remember, for safe operation and maintenance, a separate gas shutoff valve needs to be installed outside the fire feature and easily accessible.

Electronic Ignition On/Off

This CSA-certified system prioritizes safety and control. A continuously burning pilot flame ensures a reliable main burner, but if extinguished, the gas supply automatically shuts off and attempts to relight several times. All this happens without any intervention from you!

For operation, connect the fire pit to a nearby on/off switch, timer, or integrate it with your smart home system. Alternatively, control it remotely with a separate hand-held remote (not included).

Remember, a gas shutoff valve (required for both ignition options) is essential for emergencies and maintenance, not for adjusting flame height. The Electronic Ignition system comes in 12VAC or 24VAC configurations, each needing a corresponding power supply (HPC/SEBCO 100W Power Supply recommended).

Step 3: Power Up Your Electronic Ignition (if selected)

• This step applies only if you choose Electronic Ignition: Select your voltage (12VAC or 24VAC) and consider a separate transformer (for 24VAC) for remote control.

Step 4: Select Your Fuel Type

• Enjoy the ease of Natural Gas with an existing line, or choose the flexibility of Propane (note: Electronic Ignition requires a permanent gas line, not compatible with small propane tanks).
