Choosing the Best Gas Fire Bowl for your Preference
At Lux Yard and Homes, we understand choosing a fire pit can feel overwhelming. We've simplified the process in just four easy steps to help you find the perfect fire pit for your needs.
Step 1: Choose Your Flame Style
First, let's personalize your fire experience! Select your preferred burner type:
- Standard Burner: This classic design offers a reliable and visually pleasing flame pattern.
- Torpedo Burner: Creates a taller, natural wood fire look for a bolder statement.
Step 2: Spark Up Your Style - Choose how you want to light your fire pit!
- Match Lit Ignition: Embrace a classic fire-starting experience by igniting the flames manually with a match or taper.
- Electronic Ignition (Optional): Upgrade to ultimate convenience with electronic ignition. Simply turn your fire pit on or off remotely using a wall switch, home automation system, or a separate remote control (not included).
Step 3: Power Up Your Convenience (Electronic Ignition Only)
Already loving the idea of remote ignition? Let's choose your power source!
- 120VAC: This standard household voltage is perfect for most setups.
- 24VAC: Ideal for poolside locations or areas requiring lower voltage. However, it requires additional equipment:
-
- Transformer: You'll need a separate Class II, 24VAC, 4-amp, 100W transformer (not included) to power the fire pit and enable remote control. Look for one that's switchable for safety and ease of use.
- Proper Wiring: Ensure your wiring meets the fire pit's minimum requirements (100W and appropriate wire gauge) for optimal performance. We recommend professional installation for 24VAC setups.
Step 4: Fuel Your Fire
Last but not least, choose your gas supply!
- Natural Gas: Enjoy the convenience of a seamless connection to your existing natural gas line.
- Propane: For ultimate flexibility, choose propane. Note: Electronic Ignition models require a fixed gas line, not small propane tanks.
